Thanks to your involvement in this year’s Fore A Cure Corporate Golf Classic, I am proud to announce that we set a new fundraising record for the tournament. Together, we raised $84,000 for the American Cancer Society to continue its mission in Middle Tennessee. Your commitment to the cause helps provide local cancer patients and their families with the financial and emotional support they need during an extraordinarily trying time of life, such as a stay at the Hope Lodge or attendance to Camp Horizon.

In addition to direct assistance to families, the American Cancer Society provides research grants to our nation’s leading scientists who are searching for a cure, including $5 million for research taking place right here in the Nashville area. By supporting the American Cancer Society, you are not only providing for the immediate needs of cancer patients but also contributing to the long-term fight to eliminate cancer as a major health problem in the United States.

As chairman of the 2008 Fore A Cure tournament, I want to personally thank you for making this year’s event an overwhelming success. We recognize and appreciate how fortunate we are to work with corporate partners like you who take an active role in supporting our local communities and helping those in need.
